What's AniLive?

We develop and operate AniLive, a mobile streaming app specifically designed for virtual streamers and their fans in English-speaking countries.

On this platform, streamers can become "AniLivers" with their own avatars, allowing them to start streaming from "anytime, anywhere" and earn income. As viewers, the vertical streaming experience on AniLive enables them to enjoy communication with their favorite AniLivers from a close distance, experiencing a new level of engagement including various gift animations.

With the release of AniLive, our company aims to revolutionize the virtual streaming industry and bring more fun to the global anime/VTuber community!

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate Live Ops Manager who loves VTubers, anime, and games. This role is crucial in creating the most exciting streamer and viewer experience, especially in-app content strategy, event planning, monetization, and data analysis.

What you will do

  • Develop and implement a strategy for live operations and monetization that considers the expectations of both viewers and streamers.
  • Explore new in-app content strategies and models, and plan and launch in-app live event planning by following up on hot trends and topics.
  • Introducing, managing, and developing the roadmap of features and tools needed to innovate and improve live ops of AniLive and coordinate our development with relevant stakeholders
  • Conducting quantitative analysis and A/B and multivariate tests to optimize user retention, consumption rate, and ARPU value through gaining critical insights into users' life cycle

What you will bring

  • Passion for the Japanese entertainment industry — anime, manga, gaming, VTubing... you must be an otaku!
  • 3+ years experience in the role, especially with free-to-play mobile games or live-streaming apps in the North America region
  • 1+ year experience in leading a team with a scale of 3 or more members
  • Business level English is required
  • Quantitative and analytical skills with an emphasis on metrics-driven experience
  • Deep understanding of monetization and event design, as well as engagement drivers in live service games or live-streaming apps
  • Experience using Notion, GSuite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and Zoom
