Position Overview
Under limited supervision, the Loan Servicing Operations Specialist – Payoff is responsible for providing outstanding support to the Loan Servicing Department with emphasis in processing loan payoffs in accordance with specific instructions, policies, guidelines and procedures.
Role And Responsibilities
Works within and complies with established operational and compliance quality standards and service levels at a highly productive level
Responsible for processing requests for paydown on HELOC loans & payoffs on Residential mortgage, HELOCS & Consumer loans.
Process escrow funds transfer on internal refinances
Review weekly report for paid in full loans with outstanding balances to ensure complete loan closure & processing of refunds in timely manner
Additional tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate with some college level education or equivalent combination and experience
Minimum of 2 years mortgage experience
Ability to maintain good relationship with other employees
Analytical thinking ability, diplomacy, and professionalism are required
Task oriented with the ability to work on deadline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Moderate computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational skills
