What You Will Be Doing:

As a Localization Project Coordinator at Laoret, you will be an essential player in ensuring the smooth execution of our localization projects. Your role will include:

  • Oversee and manage localization projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring all deliverables are timely and meet high-quality standards.
  • Work closely with translators, linguists, developers, and content creators to gather project requirements, define scope, and establish realistic timelines.
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings to communicate goals, requirements, and timelines to all stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules. Track progress and ensure all project milestones are met on time.
  • Manage localization budgets effectively, track expenses, and ensure adherence to allocated resources.
  • Coordinate the translation and review processes to ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.
  • Ensure adherence to localization standards, glossaries, and style guides to maintain consistency across all projects.
  • Provide regular project updates, identify risks and issues, and address any challenges proactively.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the localization process.
  • Conduct evaluations after project completion to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.


Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in localization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Localization, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, including localization tools and content management systems.
  • Understanding of localization best practices, industry standards, and emerging trends.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate and address project risks and issues.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
