Logistics Intern

We are looking for a full-time or part-time college student to join our team for an eight week summer internship program. Ultimate goals are to learn the ins and outs of the business and assist full-time Procurement Specialists in supporting Field Sales and clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and excels in a team environment of open communications and a productive work atmosphere. The internship will run June through August with potential for extension during the school year.

Specific Responsibilities :

• Attend business and industry-related trainings provided by CDI employees, distributors, and manufacturer partners
• Complete various tasks related to the business and industry assigned by Sales Operations management team
• Build strong relationships with CDI Sales Operations team, distributors, and manufacturer partners
• Work together with CDI Sales Operations and Field Sales to support existing accounts
• Increase knowledge of IT industry, products, and trends in the marketplace
• Work with CDI’s manufacturer and distribution partners to procure, track and facilitate all relevant product sales
• Provide tracking information for customers, CDI Outside Sales team and as requested by CDI Sales Operations management team
• Assist in tracking and quoting time-sensitive manufacturer service contracts for clients

COMPENSATION:

$20/hour US
