The Crane Maintenance Technician will execute maintenance tasks, which require an in-depth technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment. The technician will troubleshoot and repair crane and hoist equipment, perform inspections on equipment, and provide a repair analysis for the customer.
Principal Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, crane controls, hoists and drives.
Inspect cranes and hoists using proper lift equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Take initiative and participate actively in problem analysis, root cause identification and suitable solutions.
Complete related documentation in a timely fashion.
Provide training for less experienced technicians.
Communicate with manager and/or customer regarding recommendations and findings.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 2 years experience performing industrial maintenance.
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Ability to pass a DOT certification.
Ability to work on-call rotation and work overtime.
Prior crane experience a big plus.
