The Crane Maintenance Technician will execute maintenance tasks, which require an in-depth technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment. The technician will troubleshoot and repair crane and hoist equipment, perform inspections on equipment, and provide a repair analysis for the customer.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, crane controls, hoists and drives.
  • Inspect cranes and hoists using proper lift equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Take initiative and participate actively in problem analysis, root cause identification and suitable solutions.
  • Complete related documentation in a timely fashion.
  • Provide training for less experienced technicians.
  • Communicate with manager and/or customer regarding recommendations and findings.

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years experience performing industrial maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to pass a DOT certification.
  • Ability to work on-call rotation and work overtime.
  • Prior crane experience a big plus.
