We have an exciting remote opportunity for a highly motivated Manager, 30K Program Finance to join our team and support our East Hartford, Connecticut location!  

What You Will Do:

The Commercial Engines finance organization has an exciting opportunity for a Manager of Finance role supporting the 30K Engine Program (IAE LLC). The role is at the financial forefront for the growing 30K program and provides an exciting opportunity to play a substantial role in the financial leadership of the program.

IAE LLC is a joint venture that is responsible for all aspects of the engineering, production, sales and customer support of the PW1100G-JM and PW1400G-JM geared turbofan (GTF) engines. These next generation engines entered into service in January 2016 and are in the early phase of an unprecedented ramp in production.

The IAE LLC FP&A team is responsible for the development, management and reporting of IAE LLC financials (P&L and Balance Sheet) to its collaboration partners and P&W FP&A. This position provides a unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of organizations within P&W as well as with international partners (MTU and JAEC) on a wide variety of financial and business matters. This position will routinely interact with the 30K program office, GTF Accounting, Collaboration Accounting, Engine Services, Commercial Engines spares, Group FP&A, CE senior management and IAE LLC joint venture partners.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform P&L / cash forecasting and analysis requirements for the monthly forecast, Long-Range Plan (LRP) and partner reporting as specified in the collaboration agreement.
  • Collaborate with the 30K program team forecasting aircraft and engine volumes including install, customer spare and lease pool engines, with special attention given to pricing.
  • Own the day-to-day management of IAE LLC cash including tracking of actuals and analysis of month-end balance expectations.
  • Lead the preparation of the bi-annual JV Board of Directors three-year financial forecast.
  • Partner with the GTF accounting department to ensure robust accounting processes in support of month-end and quarter closings.
  • Collaborate with GTF / CE FP&A teams and JV partners on a wide range of balance sheet and income statement topics.
  • Support the preparation and analysis of the three-year IAE LLC SG&A budget.
  • Analysis in support of ad hoc requests from P&W and JV partners.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance with 8+ years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an Advanced degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
