Description Of Work
Reporting to the Director of the University of Nebraska University Press and working in close conjunction with the other strategic and functional managers who each oversee large areas of the Press’s operations, the Manager of Editing, Design & Production envisions and oversees the print and electronic publishing processes for all Press publications, both books and journals; approximately 140 frontlist titles, 200 reprint titles and paperbacks, and 34 journals annually.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in humanities or similar field and five years experience in one or more areas of EDP including; management experience, supervision of people, budgeting and project management. Excellent knowledge of editorial and book publishing processes. Knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style ( APA , and MLA as well). Excellent knowledge of conventions of grammar. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
