About The Role
e.l.f. Beauty is looking for a Manager, Investor Relations to join our dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth company. As a Manager, you will be a key member of the Investor Relations team reporting to the VP, Corporate Development & Investor Relations. You will collaborate with the team to help prepare senior executives for investor meetings, conferences, earnings calls, and board meetings. You will assist with quantitative and qualitative analyses of the company, our peers and the industry. You will also collaborate on our corporate social responsibility and sustainability reporting initiatives, including our annual Impact Report and other relevant ESG disclosures.
This position is based in any of our e.l.f. offices (NYC, Oakland, or LA), or can be based remotely for the right candidate. Remote candidates will be required to travel to an e.l.f. office at least once per quarter. All candidates will be required to travel for investor and team meetings.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the VP, Corporate Development & Investor Relations, CFO and others in developing, maintaining and enhancing e.l.f. Beauty’s communication and relationship with sell-side and buy-side counterparts
Gather and assess market and competitive intelligence from equity research and investor engagement. Maintain and enhance e.l.f. Beauty’s valuation models and develop a deep understanding of the market’s perception of the company
Support preparation of internal and external materials to facilitate management discussion and analysis of key financial and business performance indicators including quarterly earnings, roadshows, conference speaking engagements, presentations, management briefings and other relevant public company documents and events
Represent the company as a spokesperson to the financial community including discussions with analysts and investors
Understand current and evolving ESG policies expected by public investors and support the production of e.l.f. Beauty’s annual Impact Report
Assist with ad hoc initiatives as needed
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in highly analytical financial roles including sell-side equity research, buy-side equity analyst, investment banking, or FP&A
Prior experience in consumer, beauty or household and personal care companies, as well as investor relations, is a plus, but not required
Excellent team player with the ability to work in a detail-oriented environment and to interact with various constituencies internally and externally
Highly skilled in financial modeling and valuation analyses, and basic understanding of the capital markets
Superior written and oral communication skills
Ability to travel 10% - 15%
