The Opportunity
We Are leading manufacturer of containerboard, paperboard, corrugated and consumer packaging with annualized net sales approaching $20B. Headquartered in Richmond, VA, the company has a significant corporate presence in Atlanta, GA plus 275 operating facilities in 30 countries.
This role will be a part of the Packaging Machinery and Automation. The business is a vital piece of the enterprise solution strategy by building and deploying machines globally. These machines bring our company’s and customer’s products together for the consumer.
Reporting on the business’ Global Finance Lead, the Demand Analyst will drive the sales and operations planning process. They will also participate in teams to advance the business and provide analysis support.
How You Will Impact
Facilitate and administer the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process:
Manage monthly IBP Demand process with the Global Commercial Team.
Develop the Packaging Machinery and Automation shipment forecast process and provides a roll-up by facility (Atlanta, Orlando, France, and UK) that drives the financial one.
Manage and improve Packaging Machinery and Automation business Salesforce (SFDC) workflows and ensure its accuracy.
Produce reporting including the monthly S&OP presentation deck and KPI dashboards.
Lead and/or participates in Six Sigma projects to develop processes and SOPs for the business.
Provide analytical support to drive data driven decision making.
Collaborate with Global stakeholders to maintain the Machinery Fleet database and automate it.
Perform other activities and duties as needed or assigned.
Travel (?20%, sometimes global).
What You Need To Succeed
Education in Supply Chain Planning, Finance, Business Management, or relatable discipline (5+ years of experience desired).
A self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
Team players can influence others to achieve a goal or agree upon outcome.
Problem solving, quantitative analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
Demonstrated skills in fact-based analysis and presentation.
MS Office tools (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and exposure to SFDC (experience a plus).
Strong writing and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and on multiple projects at the time.
Prior Experience in a Multinational Organization is preferrable.
