Base pay range
Currently, they operate multiple elementary and middle schools in the Bronx and Upper Manhattan. They plan to grow and open 1-2 schools each year because children in every community deserve excellent, equitable education. Join our growing team today, and be a change agent for children.
Their Network office is located at 401 W. 218th St., New York, NY 10034. Their Network team follows a hybrid work schedule: they work in-person from our office on Tuesdays and Thursdays with optional remote days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, if your team’s scope of work permits.
Deliver powerful results
To achieve their vision, they are searching for a Manager of Strategic Impact to support in scaling the Strategic Impact department responsible for sharing their story far and wide to increase impact on public education.
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of professional experience; 1-4 years of Management consulting experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience in storylining and creating compelling and visually appealing presentations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights
- Superb organizational and project management skills; Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Comfort in learning new tools and platforms; eagerness to learn and grow
- Experience in charter schooling or other mission-driven, fast-growth organizations preferred, but not required
- Identify, design, and launch improvement projects across the Strategic Impact department to enable rapid growth
- Build and codify systems, processes, and structures to support the work and functions of the Strategic Impact team
- Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and Director of Strategic Impact in growing, managing, and engaging their Board of Directors and Board of Trustees through executing excellent board meetings, board communications, and events
- Support their fundraising efforts by developing donor materials, scaling up a donor CRM, and planning/managing donor events) in close collaboration with the CEO, director of strategic impact, and director of development
- Collaborate and partner with all teams across the network on a variety of projects, initiatives, events, and more
- Wear multiple hats as a part of a lean startup-up team, supporting the work of others on the team and taking on new projects and tasks as needed
