Manager of Student Services

Under the direction of the RBC Cabinet, the Manager of Student Services oversees the discipling and mentoring of students. The goal of student services is to promote student success inside and outside of the classroom. This position provides the opportunity to work closely with college students as they are discipled here at RBC.

Some specific duties of this job include:

• Manage and develop programs and initiatives that contribute to student success at and beyond RBC.
• Following the direction of the Cabinet, administrate and manage the Career Development Program.
• Develop a strategy for launching students into vocations, such as arranging internships.
• Provide opportunities for student discipleship under the direction of the faculty.
• Implement processes for identifying at risk students and initiate procedures for effective interventions.
• Cultivate communication and connections with parents throughout the life cycle of the student in collaboration with the Director of Enrollment Strategy.
• Manage alumni communications to cultivate a stronger bond with and to serve graduates.
  
  
  

Specific qualifications for this job include:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience in higher education
• Proven history of demonstrating initiative
• Experience in assessing degree programs for effectiveness preferred
• Integrity and a professional, friendly demeanor
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize several different projects simultaneously
• An understanding of and ability to explain Reformed theology
• Ability to affirm and sign the Ligonier Ministries Extended Statement of Faith
• This job requires working some evenings and weekends
  
  
  

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. Pay ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately offer more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, geographic location, and organizational needs.
