Manager, Order Management

The Manager, Order Management, is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire order fulfillment process, ensuring that all customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company policies and customer expectations. This role involves close collaboration with other departments to guarantee timely deliveries and high levels of customer satisfaction. The Manager will also be responsible for leading a team of order management specialists, driving process improvements, and ensuring optimal inventory levels.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of order management analysts, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance, professional growth, and a positive team environment.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the order management team.
  • Provide timely resolution of daily escalations from the team, addressing and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with other departments such as Asia operations, product development, and procurement to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Lead and actively participate in meetings with internal teams to ensure timely exchange of information and updates.
  • Collaborate with Order Management Analysts to refine existing account processes and establish new procedures for newly assigned customer accounts.
  • Generate and analyze daily exception reports to proactively identify and address inefficiencies.
  • Support the director with initiatives to enhance team efficiency and contribute to process improvements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department in collaboration with the director.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Education/ Years of Experience/ Certifications

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration or other related field preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in order management, supply chain, logistics or other relevant experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, order processing, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal)
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
  • Excel spreadsheets and/or Google Docs
  • Strong problem solving skills and an analytical thinker
  • Ability to create and implement new processes
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Professional attitude, good organizational skills and dependability
  • Self-Motivated and proactive
  • Ability to multitask
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and deal effectively with diverse individuals at all organizational levels in a professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Asia manufacturing/operations a plus
  • Multilingual a plus

Working Conditions

Environment: Office

Extreme Exposures: Occasionally loud noises

  • Schedule: Typically requires regular office hours, but may require calls with global counterparts outside of regular office hours
  • Physical Requirements: Lift up to 10 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, hear, see, frequently
  • Travel Required: Some national/local travel may be required occasionally
