Manager, Project Management
Working under the direction of the department head, the Manager, Project Management is responsible for all project management aspects of projects for clients and project teams, through the successful management of internal staff. The Manager, Project Management assists in the maintenance of optimal department processes, implements effective project-specific strategies, and assists with the development and implementation of department strategies to increase productivity and quality, while decreasing cycle times and costs.
Internally, the Manager, Project Management interfaces with project leads and Department Leadership from all functional areas. S/he also interfaces externally with sponsors and external vendors.

- The estimated hiring range for this role is $108,000 - $159,500 plus applicable bonus. This hiring range is specific to US and will vary for other regions based upon local market data. Final salary is ultimately decided upon taking into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to: skills and experience, licensure and certifications, education, specific location and dynamic market data.

- Bachelor’s degree in life/health sciences or related discipline, or equivalent required.
- 8 years of Project Management experience in a CRO/Pharmaceutical Company, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience, or 5 years of experience leading project teams.
- Familiarity with International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and other applicable regulatory rules and guidelines as well as of medical terminology, clinical trials, and clinical research.
- Expert knowledge of drug development process and clinical research methods.
- Strong experience in management of study budgets and change order management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of a metrics driven project management approach.
- Excellent clinical trial project management, written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Good working knowledge of drug development process and clinical research methods.
- Proficiency in English.
- Action-oriented and resilient in a fast-paced environment and will have the ability to build effective project teams, motivate others, delegate, and make and implement decisions.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to build and maintain trust and confidence and communicate effectively with client, external vendors, and internal team members.
- Ability to mentor and delegate.
- Driving/Travel requirements - Travel up to 25% (US, Canada, or International)
