Beyond Yoga operates as a standalone brand with the benefit of LS&Co.’s global capabilities to help it achieve its goals of brand-building, store opening, category expansion and distribution.

The Manager, Retention Marketing is responsible for developing and executing email & SMS campaigns to increase customer lifetime value and revenue. This role requires a deep understanding of email & SMS marketing, retail, customer behavior, data analysis, and email service providers. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven marketer with a proven track record of success in driving customer retention and loyalty.

What You Will Do

  • Support and lead execution of email and SMS marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals and objectives utilizing data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
  • Drive the strategy, implementation, and ongoing evolution of all lifecycle and trigger programming, including but not limited to: email & SMS acquisition initiatives, advanced segmentation, onboarding journeys, nurture, and win-back programs
  • Submit timely briefs that clearly communicate needs, leverage learnings of current business trends and past performance.
  • Optimize email & SMS journeys leveraging automation across our site and marketing channels to optimize engagement and improve retention
  • Partner with Creative Team to design and refine email and SMS communication templates based on performance KPI(s).
  • Provide regular reports and insights identifying trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth
  • Leverage tools & insights to maintain healthy deliverability and database fill.
  • Consistently benchmark and optimize channel to current industry trends, best practices and AI-based technology evolutions

Skills You Will Need

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Curiosity - you are not afraid to ask questions and you have lots of them
  • Ability to quickly navigate across multiple software platforms (think many tabs open at the same time!)
  • Email industry expertise
  • Fast learner
  • Leadership executing successful BFCM programs
  • Expertise with A/B testing
  • Strong organization skills

Experience You Need

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent industry experience
  • 5+ years email marketing
  • Experience using Klaviyo & Shopify (critical!)
  • Experience using project management software (Asana is a plus)
  • Experienced in managing external vendor relationships

The expected starting salary range for this role is $77,300 - $115,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
