Job Description
The Department:
Risk management is embedded throughout Invesco’s daily operating activities, day-to-day decision-making and strategic planning processes. Enterprise Risk, led by Invesco’s Chief Risk and Audit Officer (“CRAO”), is a global Second Line of Defense function that engages with Invesco Business teams to facilitate delivery and oversight of the risk management framework and provide a consistent, aligned approach to risk management across the firm. Within Enterprise Risk, Risk and Audit Operations (R&AO) is a global shared services team that support our Enterprise Risk partners and business stakeholders through risk policy governance (including processes, standards, and controls), risk event management, reporting, business communications and organizational change management, and development/delivery of strategic risk programs.
Your Role:
As the Risk Event Incident (REI) Manager you will have a key role in ensuring the success of Invesco’s program, process, and systems by working closely with the (R&AO) team and the business to lead the Risk Event Incident Management program, which facilitates effective risk event identification, assessment, management, and monitoring across the firm.

Your Role:
As the Risk Event Incident (REI) Manager you will have a key role in ensuring the success of Invesco’s program, process, and systems by working closely with the (R&AO) team and the business to lead the Risk Event Incident Management program, which facilitates effective risk event identification, assessment, management, and monitoring across the firm.
You will be responsible for:
- Facilitating Invesco’s Enterprise Incident Management policy and Risk Event Standards & Procedures by
- Managing timely risk event remediation, management, and closure,
- Managing timely loss reimbursements,
- Managing review of reported risk events,
- Managing timely completion of compliance review and
- Engaging with stakeholders to support their knowledge and use of the risk event management process.
- Providing Risk Event Incident Management-related reporting and supporting ad-hoc requests for risk event data.
- Leading the Risk Event Incident Team for the purpose of advancing risk event management roadmap deliverables.
- Providing status reporting on the progress of risk event management work
- Partnering with Strategy Integration on training, communication, and awareness programs for effective risk event management to various stakeholders of the Risk Event Incident process.
- Partnering with other risk management teams embedded in the business and risk management committees to deliver and enhance risk management standards and practices.
- Leveraging leading practices to continuously mature and improve our capabilities for strategic, operational, and emerging risks across our full portfolio of risks.
- Leading and/or participating in special projects and ad-hoc risk assessments, as needed.
- 7 + years of relevant work experience including risk management; operational risk event incident management, external/internal audit, internal control design, implementation, assessment and/or assurance; and/or asset management industry experience.
- Passion for excellence through strong execution; plans and prioritizes efforts to achieve goals and meet commitments.

- Effective communication and the ability to drive collaborative decision making.
- Innovation, continuous improvement and learning an agent for organizational agility and effective change management.
- Championship of an inclusive, purpose-driven and risk-aware culture.
- Undergraduate in Risk Management, Finance, Information Systems or related degrees; advanced degree/graduate level studies beneficial.
