Role Description

In our relentless pursuit of strategic excellence, we seek a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as a Manager, Strategy & Innovation . In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our organizational direction, fostering innovation, and maintaining our competitive edge. You will lead initiatives to identify emerging trends, assess market opportunities, and shape the development of innovative solutions that propel our business forward. We require a strategic thinker, adept at distilling complex challenges into actionable plans, and driving transformative change.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strategy
    • Develop a deep understanding of industry, market, customer, product, and technology trends to enhance organizational situational awareness.
    • Lead rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify emerging opportunities, understand customer needs, and inform decision-making.
    • Systematically evaluate emerging opportunities to validate their value, viability, and feasibility, prioritizing and de-risking strategic initiatives.
    • Develop coherent action plans that enable effective execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Innovation & Development
    • Champion innovative thinking, cultivating a creative, experimental, and forward-thinking culture.
    • Partner with Product & Technology Strategy on product and technology roadmaps to prioritize strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with mid- and long-term business plans.
    • Partner with Advanced Engineering on new opportunities through systems engineering processes, ensuring alignment between Discovery and Delivery.
  • Collaboration
    • Provide thought leadership to the senior leadership team and organizational functions.
    • Build and nurture strategic relationships with ecosystem players to identify new opportunities, fill technology gaps, and execute strategic initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Product Line Management and Sales & Marketing to align customer-facing business development activities (e.g., user research, and customer engagement strategies) with strategic initiatives.
Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the automotive or transportation industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data/Digital Products, Camera Monitor Systems (CMS), ADAS, or Driver Information Systems (DIS).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or relevant experience with a non-technical degree.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans that deliver tangible results.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying complex concepts with clarity.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for innovation and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong leadership abilities, capable of fostering collaboration and driving change across diverse teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with ease.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Travel

  • Up to 20% of domestic and global travel as required to execute the function.
