Manager System Internal Communications

The Manager System Internal Communications:

• Manages the implementation of the System’s strategic internal and stakeholder communications in collaboration with fellow Communications Managers and in consultation with the Vice President of System Communications and the Chief Communications Officer.
• Develops plans and strategies to achieve the System’s internal and stakeholder audience communications goals, including to achieve systemwide annual performance metrics.
• While this role’s focus is primarily on internal and stakeholder communications, on occasions where internal content has potential external audiences, works with fellow Managers and communications team members to disseminate to appropriate external audiences.
• Leads a team of communications coordinators and strategists, all content creators, to support implementation of internal and stakeholder communication, including shared oversight of key platforms for internal and stakeholder use.
• Responsible for oversight of systemwide communications projects or initiatives that engage communications coordinators, strategists or contractors.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Required - Bachelors - Public Relations; Or - Bachelors - Communications; Or - Bachelors - Journalism; Or - Bachelors - Related Field.
• Preferred - Masters - Public Relations; Or Masters - Communications; Or - Masters - Journalism

Experience:

• Required - 7 years of Professional Writing Experience
• Preferred - 3 years of healthcare
• Preferred - 2 years of Corporate Communications
• Must be a strong writer and editor with ability to adapt messaging to align with BayCare’s voice.
• Ability to work with a highly matrixed communications team to advance the system’s overall Mission and brand strategy.

Location: Clearwater, FL (Hybrid)

Status: Full Time

Shift Hours: 8:30 am -5:00 pm
