What You Will Do

Mission: To drive sales growth and market leadership in Johnson Controls' Digital Solutions business, advancing the OpenBlue platform and fostering innovation in smart building technology.

Responsibilities

How You Will Do It:

  • Lead the P&L management of Johnson Controls' Digital Solutions business in North Ameri, focusing on the OpenBlue platform, software, and AI offerings.
  • Drive the adoption and growth of the OpenBlue platform, positioning Johnson Controls uniquely in the market.
  • Execute regional Go-to-Market strategies for OpenBlue in collaboration with the GTM team
  • Lead a Digital Sales Specialists and Solution Architects team to accelerate digital sales cycles, increase deal size, and enhance close rates.
  • Cultivate partnerships with digital solution partners to amplify platform value and scale.
  • Coordinate with various internal sales channels across domains to expand customer value with OpenBlue
  • Evangelize the digital solution portfolio across key industries, maintaining market share leadership and establishing a strong recurring revenue base.

External Relationships

  • Cultivate relationships with senior executives and C-suite contacts at customer organizations.
  • Act as an influential thought leader on digital solution value.
  • Develop partnerships with system integrators, consultants, technology partners, government agencies, research institutions, and universities to drive innovation in Net Zero and Autonomous Buildings and expand market penetration at scale

Internal Relationships

  • Collaborate with corporate leadership, Digital Product and Engineering teams, Marketing, GTM, L&D, Delivery and Customer Success, and regional domain sellers to execute a coordinated strategy.
  • Communicate business needs and competitive insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration across the organization to maximize results.

Principal Duties

  • Drive adoption and growth of the OpenBlue platform through solution-selling techniques.
  • Increase market share across identified channels and execute short- and long-term business plans.
  • Manage assets effectively to meet profitability goals.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through networking and community engagement.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team.
  • Ensure financial management aligns with company standards.
  • Establish collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Monitor and address customer satisfaction issues promptly.
  • Develop and mentor team members for future leadership roles.
  • Act with honesty, integrity, and compliance with regulations.

Competencies Required

  • Business Acumen: Expertise in enterprise software sales, financial management, and understanding of organizational processes.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in
  • Industry Experience: Strong background in enterprise software sales and data analytics.
