About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Customer Success to lead and inspire a team of 10 Customer Success professionals. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, retention, and growth across a large territory, managing substantial revenue streams. You will ensure that their K-12 education clients maximize the value of their products and services, while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 10 Customer Success Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Strategy: Develop and implement customer success strategies that align with company goals, focusing on retention, satisfaction, and growth within the K-12 education sector.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring they achieve their desired outcomes with The Company’s products and services.
- Revenue Management: Oversee a large territory, managing significant revenue targets, and working closely with sales to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize customer data to inform decision-making, identify trends, and proactively address challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and tools that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the customer success team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing a large territory with significant revenue responsibilities.
- Experience in the K-12 education industry is highly desirable.
