Skills Looking For
There are 2 Manufacturing Process Engineer Positions and they must have a minimum of 5 years experience.
Transitioning products from new product development or R&D into production.
Role is heavy on documentation as well; Must have experience in writing process documents, editing process documents
Working directly with production operators and other engineers on the assembly line.
Understand tooling and specification development; Be able to review process tooling, be able to do specification reviews, and drawing reviews, and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Exp with equipment IQs and process OQ and product PQ.
Exp with thermoplastics injection molding and cable manufacturing processes.
Conducting pilot builds, device verification, and testing builds.
Understand Cable Assembly; experience in cable manufacturing processes, including extrusion processes, cabling processes, braiding processes, shielding processes, and connector assembly termination, laser welding processes exp would be desirable.
FDA 21 CFR Part 820 standards / ISO13845 Med device process validation exp.
Exp in designing and developing manufacturing processes or taking existing processes from research and technology into manufacturing.
Previous medical device experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor with a minimum of 5 years experience in a mid-level engineering position.
Bachelor with a minimum of 8 years experience in a senior-level engineering position.
