The Manufacturing Engineer will support manufacturing operations, process monitoring and improvement activities. Additional areas of focus include, but are not limited to: records keeping, basic troubleshooting, procedural recommendations, generation of manufacturing and quality control documentation.
Responsibilities
Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs.
Review and calculate labor, material and other production costs along with reviewing schedules and future production requirements to assist management in decision making.
Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements in quality control.
Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment vendors.
Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Generate and maintain: Product specifications / drawings, Item Masters, Routers, Bill of Materials, Inspection documents, Validation protocols, Production forms, any other product related system documentation by writing computer programs and entering data.
Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or similar, or Bachelor’s in another technical field.
2+ years of relevant related experience.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong customer service skills and time management.
Ability to collaborate and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
A willingness to learn and work overtime when required.

Compensation
$75,000 - $95,000, depending on experience.
