Job Summary

The primary role of a manufacturing engineer involves the application of engineering principles to address challenges related to industrial layout and manufacturing production. This position requires proficiency in creating engineering drawings and adeptness in comprehending and analyzing blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the time, motion, methods, and pace associated with maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rates and enhance overall efficiency.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas, collaborating with management or engineering teams to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Review worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification documents to ensure alignment with quality assurance criteria.
• Assist in planning work allocations based on worker performance, machine capacity, production timetables, and potential delays.
• Generate charts, graphs, and diagrams to visually represent workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
  
  

Required Skills

• Display creativity, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrate qualities of a team player with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in creating sketches, engineering drawings, and basic computations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Previous exposure to computer applications and software pertinent to the engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).
  
  

Education/Experience

• A bachelor's degree in engineering is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience is required for this role.
