The Role - Manufacturing Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join Pronto Fulfillment as a Manufacturing Manager, where you will play a crucial role in establishing and scaling a new manufacturing facility for high-quality supplements. You will ensure product quality and safety by adhering to GMP, FDA, and HACCP standards, maintaining rigorous testing procedures, and optimizing production processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. Your problem-solving skills will be key in resolving operational issues and enhancing resource utilization & efficiencies. KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 3–5 years of experience in a production facility
• 2+ years of direct experience running a production line
• 2+ years of experience being responsible for hiring and termination decisions
• Previous experience with GMP, FDA, and/or HCCP Guidelines*
• Previous direct experience using an ERP Platform*

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and improve product quality, ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, and HACCP standards.
• Hire, train, and evaluate manufacturing staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee development.
• Oversee the entire manufacturing process including the required strategic scheduling, to ensure efficient and timely production of supplements.
• Optimize resource utilization in order to consistently maximize efficiency while also reducing costs where able.
• Set up and manage manufacturing ERP System - making sure the system is implemented and fully functioning through the full production process flow (from goods receivables to finished product release).
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, always ensuring a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with R&D, logistics, and other departments throughout the company as part of overseeing the overall manufacturing and production processes.
• Implement and oversee quality control procedures, maintaining rigorous testing for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, making decisions for out-of-specification situations and unexpected occurrences.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production efficiency, quality, and cost control, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

• Proven experience in manufacturing management within the supplements or pharmaceuticals industry, with knowledge of GMP, FDA, and HACCP standards.
• Skilled in developing and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and improve product quality.
• Strong leader with a track record of hiring, training, and evaluating staff to foster a positive work environment.
• Exceptional problem-solver with experience resolving production issues and optimizing processes.
• Proficient in managing budgets and driving financial performance with a focus on cost control.
• Excellent communicator, capable of coordinating effectively with suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance in manufacturing.
