Our client north of Boston is looking to add a Manufacturing Flowform Engineer to their growing team, mainly focusing on their flowform operations. Candidates that are a good fit for this role will have experience in the Aerospace industry as well as cold working metal processes. Candidates will be working in an AS9100 facility where a lot of metal work is being done. Relevant experience includes prior use of continuous improvement principals, Solidworks software, and metal testing.

Responsibilities
Assist with customer technical requirements from project inception through First Article Inspections
Create and update work instructions and manufacturing processes for various metal products
Assess material properties of products to ensure compliance with precise specifications
Enhance processing capabilities using continuous improvement methods
Model and refine material flow in production to improve delivery schedules
Participate in the research, design, and selection of tooling, fixturing, and gauging for manufacturing processes
Supervise equipment upgrades, modifications, and automation initiatives
Work towards a Zero Injury Culture by promoting safe practices and developing procedures
