Flexcraft is looking for a Manufacturing Process Technician who is responsible for monitoring production equipment and ensuring the machines in their work cell are running efficiently. The Process Technician will identify problems and make process changes based on established protocols and procedures. Must be familiar with ISO 9001:2015, GMP, and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities and duties:
Perform mold changes and startup of injection molding and blow molding machines in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Ensure all assembly line equipment is set up properly and running efficiently.
Assist in the diagnosis and repair of production equipment and/or tooling with the maintenance and engineering staff.
Assist in completing preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Complete all documentation associated with the maintenance, setup and adjustment of tooling, machines, and auxiliary equipment.
Perform preventative mold maintenance to ensure all tooling is cleaned/prepped and tagged/staged properly per standard work instructions.
Clean material handling equipment such as blenders, granulators, and vacuum loaders.
Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Determines the root cause of process and quality issues.
Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
Maintain a safe working environment and maintain good housekeeping of workspace.
Communicate best practices to other team members and shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cGMP, ISO 9001:2008, lean manufacturing, 5S, process troubleshooting, and root cause identification are key components of this position.
Should have good mechanical aptitude, be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and have general knowledge of hand tools.
Knowledge of processing characteristics of different types of materials (i.e. HDPE, PC, PET, PP, ABS).
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of HS Diploma or GED. Preferably has completed some college courses and/or 2 years relevant experience.
Has strong command of the English language with the ability to communicate fluently both verbally and in writing.
Has the ability to complete Technician Training Programs
Enter data in the IQMS or equivalent system.
Experience with Microsoft Office products including, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Has the ability to use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thermometers etc.,)
