Location: Arlington, TX
Preferred work schedule: Needs to have flexibility to work 1st 2nd or 3rd shift Monday-Saturday 5.30am – 2.30pm (1st; 130pm - 1030pm (2nd); 930pm-630am (3rd). Rotation may be required after several months

This is not an IT position, it is for an Automotive Manufacturing Group Leader. Candidates must have supervisory automotive manufacturing experience, electric and autonomous vehicles is a huge plus!
Job Description
As an Automotive Production Group Leader at client, you will supervise a team of employees to develop business processes, manage production operations, and foster teamwork and cooperation. You may also oversee technical personnel engaged in problem-solving, inspection, quality control, and assurance activities. Both roles require consistent administration of the National and Local Agreement between client and the United Auto Workers Union. Your work will focus on safety, quality, cost, and environmental aspects within the framework of Global Manufacturing Systems.
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to influence the development of manufacturing processes to support the transition to electric and autonomous vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage, and lead your team effectively.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Administer the National and Local Agreement with the UAW.
- Use independent judgment within the limits of Global Manufacturing Systems.
- Learn new skills and contribute to process development for electric and autonomous vehicles.
- Strong interpersonal skills and conflict management abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, email, etc.).
- Willingness to work weekends and rotating shifts.
- Good physical stamina and coordination.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP).
- Experience with Throughput Improvement Process (TIP).
- Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Experience supervising employees in a union environment.
- The purpose of the team is to build quality vehicles efficiently while ensuring safety.
- Motivators for this need include supporting general workload and meeting special project demands.
- Tasks include managing employee schedules, conducting safety inspections, and attending shift meetings.
