Manufacturing Quality Engineer

RDI Technology Partners is an established engineering and technology search firm. We are conducting a HIGH PRIORITY search for an extremely successful and established automotive parts manufacturing company that is looking for a junior/mid-level Manufacturing Quality Engineer (1-5 years of experience). This is a full time, permanent, direct hire W2 employee position, located in the general vicinity on Nunica, MI. ONLY U.S. PERSONS or Canadian citizens can be considered.

In this position, you will be involved integrally with the parts rejection process, using your experience that includes developing PFMEA’s, control plans and flow diagrams with program management and launch teams. You will also perform corrective action activities, as well as utilize root cause analysis tools (3X5 Why, 8D, Fishbone, etc.) to ensure effective and timely implementation, completion and reporting of corrective actions.

Plusses include experience working with engineering/production teams in RFMEA for mistake proofing and audits/improvements, as well as interfacing with supplier development for PPAP. Academic knowledge in some of the aforementioned requirements could be acceptable assuming you have actual manufacturing quality experience.
