Job Details

As a Consulting Manufacturing Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include

• Overseeing manufacturing operations to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
• Implementing and managing lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure employee safety.
• Coordinating and managing subcontractors to ensure timely and quality machine installations.
• Conducting regular machine maintenance and mechanical maintenance to prevent downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints to guide manufacturing processes.
• Ensuring adherence to OSHA safety standards and implementing safety protocols to create a safe and healthy work environment.
• Identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks in the manufacturing process.
• Collaborating with other team members to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
  
  

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, with a strong focus on OSHA safety, engineering, blueprint reading, LOTO procedures, safety protocols, managing subcontractors, machine installations, machine maintenance, and mechanical maintenance.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues in the manufacturing process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate and prevent potential issues before they arise.
