Job Description:
- Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
- Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents.
- Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Entry-level support for individual contributors.
- Work is closely supervised.
- Work consists of tasks that are routine.
- Explains facts and practices related to the job area.
- Works with close supervision on routine tasks.
- Detailed instructions are provided and close peer review is required.
- Communicates with contacts typically within the team on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.
- Work consists of tasks that are routine.
- Work is structured within identified boundaries and procedures.
- Follows established processes to complete tasks.
- Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.
- Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has minimal impact on the overall achievement of results for the team.
- Work is of limited scope, typically on smaller, routine task-related activities.
- Requires minimal job knowledge/skills.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
- Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 5 to 10 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions – On a screen/monitor.
- Basic work experience in assembly with smaller parts.
- Be able to login and type in notations of any product issue in the computer system.
- Good communication skills.
- Problem Solving.
- Teamwork.
- Building models, legos, making jewelry. Crafting type experience or small assembly.
