Manufacturing Technician (1st Shift)

Please note, this opportunity is for our 1st shift, which is Mon-Thurs, 5:30am - 4pm.

Operate equipment for the assembly of medical diagnostic tests under minimal supervision.

Snapshot Of Responsibilities

• Operate semi-automated and automated equipment in the production area at a sufficient rate and quality level.
• Perform on-line inspection of all components/parts produced. Take corrective action and/or make recommendations to the supervisor
• Complete all paperwork and equipment logbooks and review other operator's paperwork for accuracy and completeness as required
• Responsible for set-up and shutdown of equipment and work closely with the maintenance department in identifying maintenance and repair needs on the equipment
• Provide cross training to operators on all pieces of equipment in the production area
• Must follow all GMP and company safety regulations and guidelines
• May assist in validation of equipment and be solicited for input into development and manufacturing process improvements
  
  
  
  
  

What you bring:

• High school diploma; Associates or Bachelors degree strongly preferred
• 1-3 years of previous manufacturing/production work
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills (English) and mathematics skills are required
• Windows-based computer skills required, familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel desirable
• Ability to use calculator, balances and measuring equipment required
• Mechanical aptitude for general maintenance of equipment required
• Experience with GMP/ISO manufacturing operations required

The salary for this full-time position is $18.50/hr. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package, as noted below.
