Job Description:
MTE Equipment Technicians perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in the assembly manufacturing process.
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Provides Manufacturing and Equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high volume manufacturing environment.
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
Performs Level 2 and Level 3 preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.
Resolves non-standard problems, works with minimal supervision, and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities.
Works with Engineering to support new equipment installations and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
Minimum requirements are a technical associates degree (two years) or equivalent military experience/training.
2-5 years' experience in a qualified semiconductor or similar maintenance background preferred.
Proficient at troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PC software/hardware related issues.
