About The Team

Our Marketing group is a strategic team of big thinkers who work independently towards clear common objectives. The pace is fast, and we’re constantly learning. Whether developing marketing strategies, producing creative or optimizing digital, our mission is to deliver the best possible experience for our clients, as well as the best outcome for the business. We take pride in offering a bespoke approach for every auction, and work with internal category specialist, Press, Events and Creative to tell the stories of the rare and unique items sourced for auctions across over 60 collecting categories.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for marketing for your US-wide allocated departments based in New York and Los Angeles, establishing and maintaining a close working relationship with key Specialists and keep ongoing knowledge of business KPIs.
  • Lead and implement multichannel marketing campaigns for auctions and consignment.
  • Develop and manage the production of exciting and engaging campaign content including copy, film, photography and editorial for all allocated sales.
  • Own and manage the @BonhamsCars Instagram account, collaborating with the global marketing team to plan and post content.
  • Capture and post content to social media in real time at US car events.
  • Coordinate the media strategy for the Cars department globally in collaboration with London colleagues, and in partnership with our media agency – ensuring that print advertising and advertorial tactics are optimized to drive awareness and registrations.
  • Manage business-getting campaigns for your departments working in close collaboration with specialists as well as the wider marketing team on both digital and print advertising channels.
  • Develop and deliver marketing reports for all allocated campaigns.
  • Maintain a relationship with key external partners, e.g. media/digital agencies, video and photo suppliers and develop new relationships.

In addition to the tasks and responsibilities listed, other duties may be assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years plus of digital and content marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Digitally focused with demonstrated experience leading, implementing and managing multi-channel performance campaigns.
  • Confident communicator who is comfortable advising key internal stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, as well as with the global team.
  • Experience managing and tracking multiple budgets.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to see the larger picture while delivering on their day-to-day tasks.
  • Social media management with specific experience in onsite content production.
  • Proficiency in standard industry tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Trello or Later.
  • Working knowledge in the art, collectible cars and/or luxury market is desired.
