Founded in 1994 by a lone programmer, they now specialize in custom database software applications for both web and desktop. Based near Seattle, WA, they have developed hundreds of custom database applications, tools, and components. Their team includes nearly twenty creative and dedicated project managers, designers, and programmers, many of whom have been with them for over ten years, reflecting our strong company values and commitment.
They are looking for a part-time Content Marketing Specialist to enhance their digital marketing and communications, focusing on social media (primarily LinkedIn, as they are 100% B2B), newsletters, customer spotlight articles, blog entries, and more.
Responsibilities:
Brainstorm and Develop B2B Marketing Ideas: Collaborate with the team for innovative marketing strategies.
Write and Post LinkedIn Content: Create engaging posts to enhance the company’s online presence.
Build and Document Case Studies: Develop case studies showcasing product or service success.
Update Newsletter Recipient Lists: Regularly maintain the email lists for newsletters.
Plan and Write Newsletter Articles: Write compelling articles for the company’s newsletter.
Write Customer Spotlight Articles: Interview clients and write articles highlighting their experiences and success stories
Qualifications:
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively in writing and speech.
Reliable and Self-Motivated: Demonstrates a strong work ethic and can work independently with minimal supervision.
Creative and Friendly: Able to generate original ideas and work well with others.
Organized and Disciplined: Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and understand our technology quickly.
Experience with MailChimp and WordPress/Elementor: Previous experience or ability to quickly learn these tools.
Experience with SEO would be ideal.
