The Business Marketing Advertising and Audiences Data and List Generation team is looking for an enthusiastic Data Engineer/Analyst to help develop source data and ultimately create B2B targeted audiences for Sales, Call Centers, Direct Mail, Search, and Email Distribution. We are currently transitioning from traditional audience creation methods utilizing Snowflake SQL to a Customer Data Platform (CDP) utilizing more real-time, data-driven, and signal/preference-based approaches, and we need your expertise!


Responsibilities:


  • Comprehension and implementation of partner requirements: Understand the needs of partners, consult on the art of possible, translate requirements into programming language to produce a final product.


  • Development of statistical/mathematical programming: Design, develop, test, debug and manage reports/campaign lists from requirement to delivery.


  • Data handling: Define and document data requirements for data integration and campaign lead list creation. Select, Design, data ETL, munging, cleaning, extract, and analyze data using SQL/Python against data warehouses and data marts.


  • Large and complex data set analysis: Use data strategically to design and analyze large and complex data sets from diverse, often unrelated sources including data lakes, internal/external data, data warehouses, etc.


  • Use of analytics and other data analysis techniques: Use statistics, trend analysis, and other techniques to collect, explore, and identify appropriate data for analysis to predict behavior, solve business problems, and build business cases.


  • Collaboration on cross-functional teams: Work with fellow team members and across teams with varied goals/backgrounds. (Product managers, business owners, data and analytics partners, etc.) to create data sources of record.


  • Automation of data sourcing and reporting: Write code, complete documentation, test and debug applications using programming, develop automated flows for sourcing data and creating visual aids like reports, charts, tables, etc., in support of findings.


  • Statistical method application: Quantify the significance of data variances and applying a range of statistical methods, both traditional and newly developing.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Programming languages: Intermediate to advanced SQL (a must), Python (plus)
  • Cloud database (Snowflake preferred)
  • Synapse (plus)
  • Databricks (plus)
  • Data Visualization tools: Power BI/Tableau (plus)
  • Data Mining
  • Business Analytics, Data Analytics

  • Relational databases
  • Should be very detail oriented and able to perform root cause analysis and provide solutions.
  • Passionate about data and constantly driving and improving data integrity and quality.
  • Responsible to drive delivery of your own data and data products/features
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • 4+ years of experience related to the job description.
