Marketing Data Analyst

We are looking for an insightful and detail-oriented Marketing Data Analyst to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing marketing data, generating actionable insights, and helping to drive data-driven decision making processes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations.

Primary Responsibilities Of The Role

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various marketing and sales channels to assess performance and identify trends.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing metrics.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to define goals, track progress, and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Use statistical techniques and data modeling to forecast marketing outcomes and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, including paid media, email marketing, social media, and SEO.
  • Implement and manage marketing attribution models to measure the impact of various marketing activities on conversions and sales.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and cleaning.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in marketing analytics.

Technical Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and software, including but not limited to:
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Excel and Google Sheets (advanced skills required)
  • SQL knowledge a plus
  • R or Python for statistical analysis a plus
  • Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Hubspot CRM
  • Marketing automation platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify patterns.
  • Experience with A/B testing and other experimental design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and tactics.
  • Passionate about helping churches be successful


Preferred:

  • Hubspot certification and knowledge is a plus
  • Google Sheets and Google Drive experience
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.


Office Requirements:

  • We are a remote-first team with travel sometimes required 1-2 times per year
  • A stable work environment with a designated workspace and access to high-speed internet. We will provide all necessary equipment
  • US-based and legally able to work full-time in the US. Sponsorships are not available at this time
