Role 

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing Director to lead our marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account based marketing, with a proven track record of developing and managing successful marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. 


This will be a metrics-driven role for an experienced, innovative leader to generate leads and to create a customer path through the sales funnel. This individual must be able to provide quantitative results from their past experiences in the field. Having an equally creative and data-driven approach to product marketing is essential for this role. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and growth plans. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability. 
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, informing strategic decisions. 
  • Brand Management: Oversee brand development and ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Build brand awareness and enhance the company's market presence. 
  • Digital Marketing: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing to maximize online visibility and generate leads. 
  • Product Marketing: Collaborate with the product management team to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new product launches. 
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention, including user onboarding, education, and feedback processes. 
  • Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and perform regular analysis of marketing performance metrics to measure effectiveness and ROI. 
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to achieve marketing objectives. 
  • Event Management: Identify, plan and manage company participation in tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and industry events; manage related vendors  

  

Success Profile  

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing and content creation in software/SaaS space with a proven track record of evaluating, optimizing, and measuring processes and systems  
  • BS Degree in in Business, English, Communications, or related area  
  • Website management experience  
  • Experience working in Salesforce 
  • Extensive experience in creating and executing integrated campaigns such as demand generation programs for a tech B2B company  
  • Strong project management skills and ability to use data to guide decision-making and resource allocation  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; prior conference presentation experience 
  • Proven success working in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment  
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver digital communication campaigns with proven metrics and analytics  
  • Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Excel) and experience with reporting and data analysis  
  • Highly proactive and action-oriented, with a customer service mindset  
  • 20-25% travel required
