The Whitney Museum is seeking a Marketing Events Producer to engage audiences by orchestrating and implementing end-to-end marketing campaigns. The role requires a creative and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in producing successful events, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless execution. Reporting to the Manager, Member Events and Engagement, the Marketing Event Producer is responsible for supporting end-to-end event production (including concepting & development, programming, communication, branded elements and execution including day-of logistics). This role works on a variety of events, with a special focus on Free Friday Nights, Second Sundays and event marketing designed to reach target audiences for the Museum, including young audiences. The schedule for this position is Wednesday - Sunday to support weekly Friday events and monthly Sunday events.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize in-person, hybrid, and digital events
- Coordinate event logistics and execution from beginning to end
- Coordinate end-to-end event production (including concepting & development, programming, communication, branded elements) and manage work order processes adhering to best practices in planning lead times and communications
- Coordinate event promotion via email campaigns, bi-weekly newsletter, and holistically across paid, owned, and earned outreach channels
- Work with digital team to create online event listings and weekly social promotion and at event content, i.e. photography
- Work with Graphic Design departments to generate event marketing collateral as needed
- Lead day of event execution including all operations, logistics, cross-functional coordination and staffing planning
- Support and systematically deploy event marketing best practices across every aspect of the event promotion and production, including branding, marketing & communications, onsite activations and sponsor engagement, and close attention to detail ensuring the holistic event is "on brand"
- B.A./ BS - with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related/relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- Familiarity with event management best practices, software and tools, including digital events
- Basic HTML as well as experience with email marketing, preferably MailChimp and Asana tools
- Familiarity with POS, and/or database programs, i.e. Raiser's Edge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Compensation rate $50,000 - $55,000 per annum
