About the Company
Cultivate Your Space was founded by a former non-profit worker who saw the need for thoughtful, intentional design with our mental health and wellbeing in mind. Our goal is to create healing living and office spaces for ambitious individuals. Cultivate Your Space works with clients both virtually and in person in the Austin area as well as hosts workshops and educational pieces to educate individuals on how their physical space impacts their mental health.

Role Summary
Looking for an intern who loves building community, posting to socials, creating graphics, researching industry trends, and utilizing metrics to drive engagement across numerous digital platforms. This role will work best for someone who is goal oriented, self-starting, and enjoys research, numbers, content creation, writing and tracking metrics. Who is willing to understand the brand, resonate with it, and hopefully be able to share that with others through marketing online.
Important Skills
Personality: Entrepreneurial attitude, highly driven, self-starter. Might be interested in wellness, mental health, and interior design themselves.
Tech Requirements:understands social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Facebook
has experience with Canva and basic graphic design
Is open to learning how to utilize a social media scheduling tool like Tailwind. Bonus points if you already know how to use it!
Is familiar with Slack for messaging and business communications. We will teach you if you’re new to Slack!
Bonus if you have iPhone photo/videography experience
Tasks and Responsibilities
Post to Instagram stories, Pinterest, and Instagram feed 3-4x per week
Research and apply to podcast features, press features, and speaking engagements for founder
Conduct outreach for new potential leads
Research industry trends and learn how to optimize social posts / increase engagement
Social Media Engagement with followers on IG (like, comment, boost engagement)
Create Canva graphics and utilize Tailwind to schedule
Track Metrics Weekly to find highest performing posts and pins
Submit a weekly “Progress Report”
Hours:
Candidate can expect to put in 8-10 hours per week – structured between 2 days per week during our normal office hours 9am - 5pm CST
Remote Experience with some in person meet up/ video content creation.
