Marketing Intern

This job requires fluency in Mandarin. As the Marketing Intern, you will work directly with our Director of Marketing and Account Management, supporting various sales and marketing projects. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup and the potential to evolve into a full-time position based on performance and company needs. Successful candidates will take on increased responsibilities and help shape our marketing and sales initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage our Chinese-centric social media accounts on Red (Xiaohongshu) and WeChat.
• Utilize graphic design skills to create social media posts and marketing materials using tools such as Canva.
• Create simple video content, such as explainers and FAQs, for marketing purposes.
• Support the marketing team with content creation, campaign execution, data analysis, and optimizing strategies over time.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Mandarin, both written and verbal.
• Experience using Red (Xiaohongshu) and WeChat.
• Graphic design skills, especially with Canva or similar tools.
• Ability to create simple video content.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A “fill the void” attitude and comfort working in an ambiguous startup environment.
• Experience analyzing marketing data and optimizing strategies is preferred.
