Marketing Intern

Position: Marketing Intern

Location: Castro Valley, CA (remote)

Duration: 3 months - 6 months

Hours: 5-10 hours/week

Compensation: Commission based. 8% of each booked job. 

Company Overview: Interior photographer dedicated to capturing stunning interior spaces seeking a Marketing Intern to join my team and help enhance online presence, engage with our audience, and grow our brand with the goal of booking 2-3 jobs per month. 

Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

• Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, etc.).
• Develop blog posts, newsletters, and promotional materials to highlight services and products.

Social Media:

• Create paid ads 

Email Marketing:

• Collect and create email list
• Assist in designing and sending out email campaigns to our subscriber list.

Market Research:

• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and potential market opportunities.
• Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential partners and influencers.
• Create list of potential clients to reach out to

Sales Outreach:

• Reach out to potential clients for work (not required)

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Passion for photography and interior design.
• An eye for design layout.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and basic knowledge of social media management tools.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Squarespace) and basic SEO principles.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and concepts.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
