Job Description:

Objective: To develop and execute a dynamic and effective social media marketing strategy that enhances the startup's brand visibility, engages with a targeted audience, and drives conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the startup's business goals.
• Identify target audience segments and tailor strategies to engage those specific demographics effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and use insights to make necessary adjustments to the social media strategy.

Content Creation and Management:

• Plan, create, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Maintain a consistent voice and brand style across all social media channels.
• Schedule posts using social media management tools to ensure a consistent presence online.

Community Engagement:

• Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a "social" way while cultivating leads and sales.
• Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and cultivate community participation and growth.
• Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Use analytics tools to track performance of all social media campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Adjust marketing strategy as needed based on analytical findings.
• Prepare reports on campaign performance to present to management and other stakeholders.

Advertising:

• Design, create, and manage promotions and social ad campaigns, being sure to integrate with the company’s overall marketing campaign plan and channels.
• Test and optimize ads for efficiency and increased engagement.

Influencer Outreach:

• Identify key influencers in the industry and develop partnerships to promote the brand.
• Coordinate with influencers and manage collaborations to maximize the impact of social media efforts.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist.
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
• Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and documented immersion in social media.

Work Environment:

• This role typically involves working in an office setting, though remote work options may be available.
• Flexibility to adapt to the startup's dynamic environment, which might include extended hours during major product launches or campaigns.

Career Path:

• This role can lead to higher positions such as Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, or even Chief Marketing Officer, depending on our growth and needs :)
