About The Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for building and managing brand marketing campaigns, new product launches, and category marketing initiatives within the permanent makeup industry. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, including lead generation across various media channels such as search, email, social media, and affiliate marketing. The Marketing Manager will work closely with our digital and social teams to ensure effective online reputation management, analytics, and attribution. They will identify inefficiencies, unlock brand value, and provide actionable insights to drive growth and maximize return on advertising spend.

About The Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for building and managing brand marketing campaigns, new product launches, and category marketing initiatives within the permanent makeup industry. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, including lead generation across various media channels such as search, email, social media, and affiliate marketing. The Marketing Manager will work closely with our digital and social teams to ensure effective online reputation management, analytics, and attribution. They will identify inefficiencies, unlock brand value, and provide actionable insights to drive growth and maximize return on advertising spend.
Responsibilities
- Team collaboration when making hiring decisions for the marketing department
- Scheduling, organizing and assigning projects to the marketing & creative teams in AirTable
- Coaching and developing existing employees
- Monitoring performance and initiating action to strengthen results
- Monthly marketing KPI reporting to leadership team
- Translating corporate goals into functional and individual goals
- Conducting timely performance evaluations
- Gathers and analyzes information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and services and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Conducts market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of products.
- Conducts pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.
- Analyzes and evaluates financial aspects of product development.
- Collaborates in the development of new products.
- Composes, develops, evaluates, and conducts training on marketing activities, strategies, and policies.
- Develops creative briefs and collaborates with the Creative team on creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public facing communications including print, digital, and video assets.
- Conceptualize and execute multichannel campaigns across the customer lifecycle ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging on all channels.
- Collaborates, participates in, and coordinates promotional activities or trade shows.
- Negotiates contracts for services needed to execute a marketing strategy.
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, budgets, and results.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Identify new areas of opportunity beyond current organizational thinking
- Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison and point of contact within the marketing organization for cross functional partners, acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test marketing initiatives
- Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into strategic marketing initiatives
- Manage all aspects of the analytics related to strategic marketing initiatives and communicate relevant information to team members, executive leadership and cross-functional partners
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 4 years of digital marketing experience
- 2 years in management or leadership role
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g. NetSuite, Magento, Bronto and Google Analytics)
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate across multiple different customer segments and audience types
- Customer oriented, results driven
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
