Marketing Manager
Summary of Position: The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, drive franchise growth, and ensure consistency across all franchise locations. This role involves overseeing the marketing team, collaborating with franchisees, and managing various marketing initiatives to support both corporate and franchisee objective
Marketing Manager Job Description Includes:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to support franchise development and overall brand growth.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, competitive landscape, and emerging trends. Work with the operations team to evaluate different markets, neighborhoods, and competition
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and franchise locations.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with the franchise development team to create marketing campaigns aimed at attracting potential franchisees.
- Support franchise sales efforts with targeted and cohesive marketing materials and initiatives.
- Plan, execute, and analyze multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, and events.
- Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Set clear goals and performance metrics for the marketing team.
- Provide marketing support and guidance to franchisees, helping them implement local marketing initiatives
- Create and communicate in-store promotions
- Work with new franchisees to build out the grand opening of each new store
- Create a local store marketing playbook. Train new franchisees and managers and hold them accountable for results
- Partner with training and operations to develop and execute marketing initiatives as it pertains to new restaurant opening
- Develop and deliver marketing training programs for franchisees.
- Oversee the company’s digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
- Monitor and report on digital marketing performance, using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns.
- Act as principal manager for fundraising efforts being responsible for the oversight, planning, and implementation of comprehensive fundraising programs and partnerships.
- Develop and manage public relations strategies to enhance brand reputation.
- Utilize analytics tools to track marketing performance and generate regular reports for senior management.
- Adjust strategies based on data insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, ensuring they deliver quality work on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in franchise marketing and brand management.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Proficient in marketing analytics and reporting tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the franchising industry.
- Knowledge of CRM software and marketing automation tools.
- Strong project management skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and think outside the box.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with occasional travel required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
