Role Summary


This role oversees the content creation, curation, and delivery across their designated social media channels, ensuring the brand voice and messaging is consistent and impactful. They are also responsible for helping to create and execute marketing strategies specific to their channel's audience, cultural nuances, and platform algorithms. Aiming to increase followers, engagement, community and conversions with high quality and newsworthy content.


This role could be a great fit for a candidate with experience in managing social media campaigns, with the ability to creatively engage audiences. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for creating positive impact through digital advocacy and audience engagement.


Responsibilities:


Social Media & Marketing Team Alignment

  • Works closely with Marketing & Social teams across the organziation to ensure alignment across activities, share best practices, learnings, and identify opportunities. Works collaboratively to ensure consistency across social media platforms.
  • Support collaborative opportunities and co-create campaigns or content that can be rolled out across channels.


Social Media Activity

  • Managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube) growing our online presence and audience.
  • Creating the content calendar for all social media channels and ensures a mix of promotional, informational, and engaging content, while aiming to increase followers, engagement, and conversions.
  • Schedules content to go live on various social media channels and engages with community comments promptly and in a professional manner.
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics to refine content strategy.
  • Stay updated with platform-specific updates, trends, and best practices to continuously optimize content delivery.
  • Coordinate with graphics and video teams for content creation, ensuring it resonates with the target audience.
  • Engage in proactive social listening, identifying trending topics, conversations, or sentiments that are relevant to the brand.
  • Actively participate in these conversations where appropriate, ensuring the brand voice is authentically represented and adding value to the discussions.


Community Engagement


  • Actively engages with the channel's audience, answering queries, responding to comments, and building an engaged online community.
  • Identify and nurture brand advocates within the community to amplify the brand message.
  • Report and assist to manage and find solutions for potential crises, ensuring that brand reputation is upheld.
  • Monitors social media channels for any potential topics the organization should respond to.
  • Keep updates of the latest trends and vegan community.


Partnerships & Collaborations

  • Identifies potential influencers and collaborators who may help to amplify key messages and reach a broader audience.
  • Assist in the execution of collaborations and partnerships planned.
  • Assist in the execution of production of local videos for their channel’s audience.


Required skills and experience:


  • Experience with Canva.
  • Experience of remote working softwares (Monday, or similar)
  • Ability to collaborate with other creative professionals on the team.
  • Familiarity with veganism and the vegan movement is essential.
  • Excellent social media management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, team player.
  • Ability to direct and coordinate events, such as on-site filming.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  • Ability to take initiative, and to represent GenV on our social media channels in a confident and professional manner.


Additional information:


  • This is a remote-working position open to candidates based within the U.S (East Coast time zones are preferred)
  • This is a full-time employee role, and candidates must be legally permitted to live and work in the U.S.
  • Candidates should be available for occasional travel to events and conferences.
  • Salary range: $50,000 – $60,000 experience dependent.
  • Annual PTO allowance: 20 days + national holidays.
