Marketing Manager

In this role you will be hands-on and responsible for running projects across multiple internal groups, owning the gameday promotions strategy, and contribute to overall brand marketing efforts focused on driving fandom and revenue growth. You will also collaborate closely with our external agency partners and help run point on key programming and events.

This role will report out of our Intuit Dome offices in Inglewood. We offer a hybrid schedule as well as other perks. This role is a full-time position with an annual target salary range of $110,000 to $125,000.

What You Will Do
- Lead the strategic planning of our key Marketing tentpoles and communication campaigns throughout the season that will help drive fan growth and support our revenue generating initiatives.
- Develop holistic Marketing Plans around key moments such as Schedule Release, All-Star Voting/Weekend, Post Season/Playoff campaigns, and other NBA led initiatives, etc.
- Work closely with Consumer Insights & Analytics team to develop integrated plans to drive Ticketing Initiatives (Season Membership Renewal, New Deposits, Single-Game Tickets, etc.)
- Ensure Marketing communications are aligned with our Brand Identity, Brand Voice and Tone.
- Serve as Project Manager across our communication tentpoles, handling times and ensuring on-time delivery for Marketing projects.
- Contribute to Brand Campaign strategy and development that will build our brand and drive Fandom growth.
- Be the main point of contact for Marketing across our Digital Media agencies, broadcast and promotional partners ensuring our campaigns are executed both in and outside the Arena.
- Collaborate with internal Content and Creative Services team, writing and aligning the Brief and ensuring on-time delivery of assets.
- Lead the strategy and planning for Theme Nights and Promotional items to ensure they ladder up to our key segments.
- Responsibilities include end-to-end program strategy, vendor relationship management, and game day operational oversight.
- Traffic marketing and brand assets both internally and with agency partners.
- Support experiential marketing for fan development and brand growth.
- Assist with marketing activation that drives lead generation, sponsorship revenue, and ticket sales.
- Management of one direct report and handling weekly status meetings, helping them manage priorities, make decisions and annual goal setting and reviews.
- 5+ years of experience in a Marketing role
- Experience coaching and developing talent
- Track record of strategic thinking and leveraging insights to set objectives that deliver on organization goals
- Previously established and led project management processes in a creative/marketing setting
- Work experience in sports and/or live events highly preferred
- Experience leading the strategy and planning of game promotions and giveaways
- Experience handling and managing agency relationships and multiple cross functional stakeholders
- Solid understanding of Asana or similar project management tool
- Demonstrated dedication with the ability to lead multiple projects from origin through execution.
- Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.
- Ability to anticipate opportunities/issues and proactively develop recommendations
