Robert Half Marketing & Creative has a client seeking a Marketing Manager with retail apparel or related industry experience. This is an open-ended contract opportunity that will be normal business hours (EST) per week.

You will provide support for both the product team (programs to reach current customers & new audiences) and general marketing (media, tradeshows, creative, campaign assessment, etc.).


Must have proven experience working independently and the ability to navigate cross-functionally across business areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a cross-functional liaison to aid other departments in development of marketing programs
  • Independent project management and leadership
  • Development of milestones and deliverables
  • Identify and oversee Brand Growth Programs
  • Identify opportunities for growth
  • Tie customers to product and opportunities
  • Research audience opportunities
  • Develop campaigns to reach the targeted, segmented audience
  • Creation of promotional pieces associated with the campaign
  • Identify and measure appropriate metrics for the campaign(s)
  • Monitor program metrics
  • Creation and monitoring of marketing campaigns designed to grow our wallet share and profit
  • Work closely with the Creative Team to create effective, efficient marketing plans and timelines
  • Identify key business growth opportunities
  • Research and present new marketing techniques
  • Sales Team Interaction
  • Interaction and partnership with the sales team to develop and deliver tools to aid in the selling process
  • Aid in the development of sales training tools
  • Aid in the development of tradeshow marketing materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years’ experience required; background in product marketing, the promotional industry, apparel, print-on-demand or SAAS platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and best practices including CRM, paid media, webinars, events and experiential marketing.
  • Strong communicator, able to convey actionable, data-driven insights to diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Highly analytical problem solver and strategic thinker with strong time management and project management skills
  • An exceptionally quick learner with a natural curiosity and the ability to grasp new concepts, simplify complexity and influence cross functional groups.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Klaviyo and HubSpot preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
