Marketing Manager, US Prime
Description
Looking for an opportunity to launch new marketing ideas fast and make a big impact? We are seeking a self-motivated, creative, and data driven marketer that will help us drive Prime member acquisition, retention, and engagement.
The US Prime Content Testing team is responsible for driving continuous enhancement and optimization of the Prime customer experience through experimentation. Our marketers use customer insights, learnings from previous tests, and design best practices to develop experiments that look to improve our customers understanding of all that Prime has to offer.
As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing content experimentation initiatives, analyzing metrics, and providing actionable insight into performance, as well as making recommendations on marketing plans. You need to be highly organized, detail oriented, and skilled across a varied set of software and editing tools.
We are looking for a candidate who is innovative, has an eye for compelling experiences, is comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and enjoys the intellectual challenge associated with experimentation. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, organized, and comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools.
Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible and works effectively with multiple teams, partners, and management.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Develop customer insights based on an understanding of customer data and the Prime customer experience
- Create messaging strategies to highlight the best of Prime benefits and features to our diverse customer base
- Develops and executes an experiment roadmap for distinct customer journeys
- Analyzes experiment results and publishes key insights
- Works well with partner teams and stakeholders to deliver assigned projects on time
- Collaborates with creative teams to develop best-in-class marketing assets
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience in online retail/B2C marketing
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience using customer research and hard data to develop experiment hypotheses
- Strong time-management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- A passion for diving into the details to optimize programs and tools
- Experience in developing and executing experiment roadmaps
