Materials Analyst 1

Schedule: 9-6pm (1 hr non-billable lunch with flexibility)Days a week: Monday - FridayHybrid: 1 day a week onsite (Potential for 2-3 days onsite depending on assignments)

Responsibilities: Forecast demand balancing supply plans and financial objectives; evaluate risks and opportunities and plan contingency scenarios. Successful candidate should be competent in: Review historical consumption data, trends, prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results to increase forecast accuracy. Analyze Lifetime Buys from Suppliers. Assist Demand Planning Management with KPI analysis and reporting. Monitor performance vs the forecast throughout the month identifying key shifts. Identify improvement opportunities in cross-functional planning process, influence and marshal resources, and drive projects to completion.

Qualifications: You combine excellent analytical capabilities, business savvy and leadership skills. You bring thoughtful influence in a matrixed organization, be a strong collaborator and communicator, with experience presenting to executive management demand planning, forecasting & modeling experience Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with numbers Translate abstract findings in research and data into actionable insights using clear visual and written communication MBA, BA or BS degree in Business, Econ, Supply chain management, or related field from an accredited university Prior experience in Banking, Consulting, Sales operations, Supply chain Planning is a plus
