Math Tutor -- Remote | WFH

Are you passionate about education and enjoy helping students succeed? We are looking for a dedicated Math Tutor to join our team and provide academic support to students. In this role, you will focus on reviewing 8th-grade math skills and previewing 9th-grade math concepts to prepare students for the upcoming school year.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions to review 8th-grade math and introduce 9th-grade math skills.

Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning goals and needs.

Regularly assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.

Utilize learning technology and classroom resources to enhance the learning experience.

Provide feedback and updates on students' academic performance to both students and the tutoring company.

Requirements

Experience working with children or students in educational settings.

Proficiency in middle and high school math skills.

Strong knowledge of the subjects being tutored.

Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Familiarity with learning technology and educational resources.

Skills

Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities.

Strong educational background in relevant subjects.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Knowledge of classroom management techniques.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
