This temporary position involves working the 2nd shift and focuses on routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations. You will be executing tasks under clear guidance, adhering to company policies and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly of small parts or components following established procedures.
Review shop traveler route cards or schematic drawings to ensure correct operational sequences.
Utilize binocular microscopes, tweezers, and positioning fixtures to handle small components, including ceramic boards, crystals, and fine wires.
Adjust and solder wires to specified components.
Bond or seal assemblies with epoxies using direct heating methods and conduct various in-process tests.
Uphold all safety policies and procedures.
Exhibit reliable attendance, with the possibility of night and weekend shifts, along with variable schedules as needed.
Job Specifications
Education: A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience is preferred.
Certifications: Vocational training or apprenticeships in a related field are advantageous.
Experience: 0-2 years of relevant assembly experience.
Required Skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate various hand tools and light machinery.
Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in reading company safety documents, operating instructions, and standard operating procedures.
Manual dexterity for working with intricate components.
Problem-solving capacity for straightforward tasks using existing protocols.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

The salary range provided is specific to California.
